Tree Plantation
Tree plantation is a signature program of Being Volunteer Foundation.
The primary objectives of the program are:
- To increase the forest cover in proportion to the population of a geographical region.
- Increasing the citizen-to-tree ratio.
- To nurture the newly planted trees at least for 2 years so that they can self-sustain.
The whole execution is process-oriented and is handled by experienced staff. All the stages are well defined and are timed spanning over the year.
Two key factors make this program a successful one:
- The strong knowledge base of indigenous plants
- Nurturing process post plantation.

Schools in rural areas often have limited access to clean water. Solar energy can provide a reliable source of water for drinking, cooking, and sanitation. This can have a major impact on the health and well-being of students and teachers.
There are a few different ways to make clean solar energy available to schools in rural areas. One that BV uses is to install solar panels on the roofs of schools. This can provide a reliable source of electricity for water pumps and other equipment.
BV has successfully run this program in 4 different schools benefitting more than 3000 students and teachers.

Lack of access to proper lighting can have a profound impact on the lives of people, especially children, in remote parts of India. In the year 2022, 200 solar lamps were distributed with the help of CSR and volunteers.
